Edward Garland initially obtained a BSc in Psychology in 1994 from the University of Leeds. Whilst working as part of a drug and substance misuse team Edward became fascinated in Chinese Medicine after receiving acupuncture treatment for a back complaint. Since then Edward has studied diligently to learn more about the Chinese approach to health and disease, studying Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Tai Chi.
Edward is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine both of which has its own code of ethics and ensures that all its practitioners have undergone thorough training and comply with rigorous safety and liability requirements. Edward has been in practice for over seven years and believes that a truly holistic approach to health is essential.
